PALMS
Iconic to living in Los Angeles, Palm trees are reimagined as elegant brushstrokes in the sky, bringing views of the Southern California vibe to life. Reimagined into B+W or vibrant color explorations, each offers an interpretative play of distinctive personalities of form + light.
ABSTRACT
Bold brushstrokes are turned into abstract designs that are honest, sensual, and present the medium in its purest color and form. The work is developed with an interior designer's eye, creating the most dynamic expression in much the same way I design a space, event or commercial installation.
KOI
A joyous celebration of the magic that Koi symbolize in life. A reinterpretation of childhood visits to the Arboretum in Arcadia and the Huntington Library & Gardens in Pasadena where Koi ponds ruled my curiosity + imagination. The ghost Koi I have created appear exclusively from our studio. Koi represents the feelings of luck, perseverance, and abundance.
BOTANICA
Inspired by native elements found in California- where sun, soil, and water come to life in these works, representing how the medium can be used to deliver incredible statements of flora in B+W, color, and ink.
COASTAL
The coastal area landscapes became a natural extension for my talent to embrace- since I spent summers exploring at Santa Monica, Zuma, & Huntington Beaches as a kid, as well as visits to Santa Cruz & San Diego on family vacations. These experiences & images are recreated with great care, sensitivity, and expressed with heart.
DESERT
A less is more approach with this collection of emotionally inspired desert paintings. The arid environments of Palm Springs and the Sierras are reimagined in new ways with an artistic interpretation of family vacations taken in the high and low desert.
